The larger version is nice. Definitely some nice light on the tree trunks. That little bit of incongruous background hillside on the right distracts my eye.

One set I've been working on are from a morning's ride out to Montpelier on the Isle of Man. There's a stand of trees there that caught the light nicely. It was difficult shooting as the terrain is hilly, there was a good bit of wind, and the ground was difficult. It was cold and the sky was floating between iron gray and light light blue due to clouds and overcast. This photo has been a bit of a task. It's not quite as sharp as I'd hoped but hopefully the rendering will be satisfying. It doesn't look great in the small page image ... too much detail for the downrez version ... so please click on the image and look at the 1000 pixel tall version (about 512K) if it's not too much trouble. http://homepage.mac.com/ramarren/photo/PAW6/28.htm comments and critique always welcome. enjoy!
