Due to lack of budget and natural deterioration, there isn't much  
left at Rhyolite, and they've built a very ugly fence up close around  
the one well-preserved building, making it impossible to photograph.

There are others in other western states.  One I like a lot and have  
visited several times is Berlin, Nevada.
