Fortunately, my local store is totally different. Some weeks ago, I put an eye on a used Sigma 5.6/400 they were offering. I was asked whether I wanted to look through it on a body, and put it on a K100D. As I just had a memory card with me I was able to take some shots to look at later. They would never talk me into something, they listen to what I want, and they know what they are talking about. Probably a dying species, and I'm just a lucky guy.
