Well, there is a God in heaven! After being turned down for my rebate on the 10~17mm FE lens, I contacted the National Sales Manager, Eastern Division, for Pentax USA. It has been a couple weeks since I sent off the letter, so I had basically given up.
This AM I get a call from the gent, in NYC, and he said that he would take care of the problem. A couple hours later he called back with the news that the check was in the mail. Thank you Pentax!
