As Godfrey told you, you can not get rid of it.

I think you just installed your old hard disk in the new machine,
didn't you?:)

You have to take ownership of those files on your old hard disk.

1. Turn off simple file sharing (this is turned on by default when you
install Windows XP).

- Click on My Computer, open the Tools/Folder Options... menu, select
the View tab.
- Under Advanced Settings, scroll down to the last option which is
named Use simple file sharing (Recommended) and uncheck it, then click
OK.

2. Take ownership of your old hard disk.

- In My Computer, right click on your drive, (C:, D:, E: ...whatever)
and select Properties.
- On the Security tab click Advanced, then select the Owner tab.
- In the Change owner to section select your user and check Replace
owner on subcontainers and objects.

[In case you don't know which user are you using, open a command
prompt (Start menu/All programs/Accessories/Command prompt) and type

echo %username%

this will display the user who is currently logged in.]

- Click OK and whenever it asks that do you want to replace the
permissions, answer with Yes.
