I'm only saying this because I doubt that Don will be following the
list for some time;  I know he'd be embarrassed to read this.

Don's been a real inspiration, the way he's handled this most
difficult of situations with grace, courage and determination.  I wish
him all the best, and look forward to seeing him next spring @ GFM.

BTW, Bill, at the risk of embarrassing ~you~, I could (and will) say
the same things about you as I just did about Don.  ;-)
