I put in my order on Saturday for a Wacom Intuos 4x5. Should arrive
tomorrow. I could have taken home the 6x8 model that day for not much more
money but I don't have the desk space and I don't need the extra accuracy.
Unfortunately their PL series is somewhat out of my league :)
The only experience I've had with a tablet is a 5 minute play with the Graphire
tablet (also made by Wacom). That was enough to convince me, but I went to
the Intuos because its pen is reputed to have a much higher-quality "feel".
I've also held the Intuos airbrush pen they make. That thing is an ergonomic
masterpiece.

A guy at work has the same model tablet that I'm buying and its partly due to
his comments that I'm getting one. He's into restoration of old photos and has
managed to tidy up some really nasty material quite well. The coordination
between hand movement and cursor movement is far better than with a mouse.
In fact, I plan to keep my mouse only for Quake 3...
BTW, does the Acecat tablet have pressure sensitivity? I get the feeling that
that's going to be a very handy feature...
Cheers,
