So I should kick JCO off the list because he apparently has a limited vocabulary? I don't think that's really fair, considering the number of people here on the PDML, yourself included, who have let loose a bit of vitriol on another member. Far as I can tell, the only difference has been the amount of profanity. While I'll admit to a certain amount of admiration for well-written invective, it's still invective, and darned few of us can claim to be without sinful posting. "The good of the list" is the open exchange and discussion we have, without the chilling effect of thinking I might dive in and boot people off at any time. I've been on the PDML over ten years, and have found it to be self-leveling. Sure, we have low points, but in general the signal to noise ratio has been great. And come on, who around here hasn't wanted to say "fuck you" to Shel? (just kidding, Shel) If you, or anyone else, don't like what JCO has to say, or, more accurately, how he says it, I suggest you employ your client's filtering system. In the meantime, I think I'll check to see if I've used up this year's quota of commas.
