OK, now I see it clrearly: My friend's Espio has a passive AF (TTL, same as SLRs) that is more precise than my girlfriend's Olympus active AF. But, in low light conditions, it needs to be assisted by the flash in order to focus (the Olympus don't). Flash assistance or manual focus in the MZ-S? This is another debate...
