I always sign my first name at the end - even tho my full name appears in the "from" as well.
As this is a public list, I can see why people might not want their full name there, but on the scrabble players list it is a list you have to belong to to post and it is set up so that unless you specifiy "reply all' the replies only go to the person who wrote a post AND you are REQUIRED to put your full name at the bottom if it doesnt appear in your "from" at the top. early on it was silly because everyone there knew each other in real life - now it has grown and there are lots of newies.
