Gosh - all these international offers - perhaps we sould put it back
until after Christmas - say springtime, that way it's far enough in
advance that the people cane make their arrangements accordingly, with
plenty of notice. The only problem with short notice meets is that you
can't please everyone because of commitments, but of course the idea is
to get as many who want to come, to be there.

People like Gianfranco and others, for who a trip to London is a distinct
possibility, need time to organize themselves - so a longer lead-time
might be beneficial.

How's this sound? After all Grandfather Mountain, I presume, has set
dates that folk have to work around? Or is it ad hoc?

>Hey, can somebody recap the bidding?
>
>You want to target around a weekend at the end of October?
>Oct 20-21 or Oct 27-28? Is Oct 13-14 too early?
>
>Are you set on a Saturday/Sunday or would you include a Friday or Monday?
>
>Who can make which dates?
>
>I'm sorry, but I'm getting confused...

Bob, so am I.

Actually, the more I think about it, a longer lead time is bound to be
better. No? I'm prepared to do the research on the ground, and make sure
it all goes smoothly.
