Actually, Canon only owns about 60% of the market. Nikon owns 25% or so, 
and the rest is divided among the smaller players (of which Pentax is 
the largest these days, given Oly's stuggles and Sony ahving to start 
again from near scratch). This is for DSLR's of course.

So flickr is fairly representative of the market, not 100% aligned, but 
not all that far off.
