Good news and bad news. My local photo store just called to say that my K10D is there waiting for me. Yeah!
In the past it has seemed that the small outlets would receive their allotment several weeks or more after the big guys like B&H. This time Pentax seems to have gotten it right, waiting 'til they had all of their shipments ready to go. Or maybe they just outsourced the distribution process to a UPS or other firm capable of handling it. In any case, kudos to Pentax. Bad news is that I am at my in-laws home for Thanksgiving week, 800 miles from my K10D. I get back home about 2:00 pm Sunday, depart at 6:00 pm Sunday for D.C. And I'll be gone for 2 weeks...
