If your settings are all correct, sounds like there
is something wrong with the camera or the operator
because a screwmount lens should meter in AV mode
the same as a K/M lens wide open if the screw lens
is set (stopped down) to the same aperture as the K/M lens's wide
open value.

Checked, in fact it was the first thing I checked (I figured I'd
accidently dialed -1 in instead of +1 as the command dial works opposite
from my brain). I've got it set at +1 right now to get a better exposure
out of it right now.
