The shake reduction sounds like it should be a real boon. Jerome R. gave me a pretty detailed run down on the K100D a while back, and it sounds like the shake reduction, larger LCD, and other features were very much worth it. Now with the 10.5 megapixels in the K10D - I'm really looking forward to this!
I played around with my brother's Canon 12 megapixel camera this summer, just a little, and was pretty impressed by the improved detail that the extra megapixels bring in. But I still expect that for really huge enlargments (I'm doing more and more 24 x 30 inch or larger prints these days)I'll be looking to the 6x7 still. Somedya I might even move up to large format, but for now the investment / return ratio is not compelling enough. I still like B&W film in the Mz-S or LX for street shooting - it's almost a ritual but just puts me in the right frame of mind to load up a roll of Tri-X or Neopan 400, knowing that a jug of Microdol-X is sitting under the sink at home.... So far this year I've probably shot only about 75 rolls of B&W 35mm or 120 film, and only about 6 rolls of color medium format (but those were 220 rolls sound they count double.) I still have several hundred rolls of Agfa film and over a gallon Rodinal in the basement - so I don't plan on quitting film just yet. But for the detail and close up work, I'm really looking forward to the K10D. Too bad the dragonflies won't be back till May! - MCC --- Paul Stenquist <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I kind of figured that. IMy K10D arrived yesterday. > Having a lot of > fun with it.
