Leica has come up with fixes for a couple of the big problems with the M8. For the reported ghosting/mirroring issue, they are implementing a fix in the factory, and if you already own an M8, you can send it in to be repaired for free. But to solve the problem of "above average IR sensitivity,", you have to use a special IR filter on every lens. They are providing two for free in any size the user wants.
