You can buy a *ist-D new today for $799, from B&H photo. so lets see 799/1699 * 100 ~ 47% so my guess is that you'll be able to buy a K10D for ~$470 just after it's discontinued. Other than that, as the official Pentax price never fell much below $1699 I have no clue.
