My earliest (that I have in digital form - there are others in boxes of negs) is from 1977. I've shown it to the list before, but for those who weren't traumatized enough the first time, here it is: http://www.robertstech.com/temp/prom1977.jpg It's my high school junior prom. My family found the whole concept of the "high school prom" more that a little weird. I went as a photographer for the school yearbook (and made sure to wear my rattiest clothes!) and got this shot with a K-1000 and 55mm f/2.0. Tripod-mounted, 1-second shutter speed and manually-triggered flash to get the combination of blur and sharp. Note to horrified fashionistas: If you think those clothes look ghastly in this photo, you should have seen them in color. Pastels were all the rage for tuxedos at the time. <shudder> -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
