Pentax had an article on this.  They said most, if not all, dust can be
removed fine with the current DR system.  But there might be a case wherein
dust/speck might be oily or sticky for some reason, then this lollypop might
be useful.
BTW, it is not an ultrasonic cleaning but rather a combination of slippery
surface coating of low pass filter, combined with the (probably high
frequency) shaking and physical "knocking" of the sensor, utilizing the SR
system.
In the recent interview, Pentax stated that you probably do not have to
worry about the dust for the life of the camera.  But occasional blow or
cleaning of the sensor should not hurt either.
