there is subtle difference between "being able to read" and "being able to render as intended by camera manufacturer". Sure, ACR can read DNG files from K10D, but seeing results I'm not convinced it renders them properly. That's why I suggested using PPL; alternatively RAW could be developed in camera - very nice feature, BTW :-) I know, both are not "workflow friendly" as I use ACR myself, but they would provide point of reference in situations like this.
