To all US members,
Please know that I am thinking of you during this
tragedy. I could not bring myself to watch too much of
the news tonight or today. It was far too distressing,
and I don't even have family in the US. It must be so
much harder for you. The worst bit was when they were
talking to a prominent guy in politics. He had had two
calls from his wife who was on one of the planes, and
then I guess he never heard from her again. She wasn't
even supposed to be on the plane, but stayed an extra
day with him in Washington for his birthday. It must
be so hard for him.
Please try and talk Dubya out of war. I don't think it
solves things. I know you are all angry but no need to
sink to their level. War would be even more of a
terrible tragedy.
Stay strong but don't be afraid to cry. I am almost
crying myself, and I am normally such a hard woman.
