I haven't seen God or anything, but it sure is a nice camera.

I skipped the *istD and waited for the *istDS to get cheap.
The upgraded features and dials are really nice.
- metering selection under the top left dial.
- autofocus selection surrounding the back rocker switch.
- that RAW button on the front.
- the 'picture window sized LCD screen.
- the simpler/easier menus.
- the two wheels.

And the picture quality is impressive.
I'm still struggling with all the options,
RAW, RAW+, PEF, DGN, and JPG's.
I'm trying to work thru what's best and best for me.
And the RAW image converters aren't there yet in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro...

I went out this AM and shot another 100+ pix.
I've spent the afternoon converting them to jpegs.
I need a better work flow and storage organization.
Photoshop Elements 5.0 isn't gonna cut it anymore.

I appreciate reading the list and learning what others are finding in
using the K10D.

Regards, Bob S.
