Epson says that it's a driver limitation, so it shouldn't make any difference what software you print from: In theory you need to bypass the driver system of your OS with a RIP (raster image processor). BUT... I seem to recall that I was able to get a print over 44 inches long by printing from Panorama Maker. Theoretically it shouldn't have worked, but it did.
