Hi! The lens has arrived. It is small, light and very easy to handle. *istD reports that its widest aperture is F4.5, not F4.7. It is F4.5 all the way through 135 mm, then it becomes F5.6.
Very preliminary shooting with review on the back of my *istD (yes, I chimp) at x12 magnification shows that it is somewhat soft wide open but gets better stopped down. Naturally KEH were impeccable as usual. I shall be sure to give this little lens a proper test drive one of these days, probably weekend. I should also mention that because it is so light, the shaking of my hands at 200 mm is more prominent than with F 70-210. I do enjoy the internal zooming though.
