Well...if I would have to judge based on whether I like the pictures or not, I would say that it is a great lens !

By default sharpening of my ACR is at 25%. Here I had to bump it up to 50% few times. 2. I am not sure I like the color reproduction though the light wasn't exactly good yesterday. 3. Notice that cat picture is heavily sharpened. It is probably somewhat soft wide open. All in all, I would say that quick way to describe it would be "Takumar Bayonet 135/2.5" in zoom clothes. It is usable but of course F 70-210 is optically superior. Have your say, although I realize that my test pictures are not exactly representative.
