No. Biggest mistake I made with him. That dog was born to point and retrieve. We pretended to hunt, take a walk in the fields, he'd point birds (bobwhite mostly), I'd flush them and we'd watch them fly away. He was soooo steady. His dad was a dual field/show champ and his grandfather was the #1 GSP in the country. I'm not a hunter, just really love the breed.
