Sensor aliasing? BTW, In my article, I've used that picture for explaining that problems can be managed as effects and opportunities :-)
All pictures in that article are meant to explain something, like the last one (sax) which was turned into a retro-style film pic by turning it into B&W, increasing contrast and adding grain.
