The very fine gent in Brooklyn, Paul "Pentax", was telling me the other day that a very small number of the K10's were mistakenly shipped while still left in "debug" mode. The cameras are fine, just need to be returned to Pentax for correcting. Apparantly the process involves a test bench/computer so cannot be done by an enduser. Paul is the Pentax rep who got me my rebate after it had been initially refused.
