Rod, I understand now. I think a better test would be to fill the buffer up, and then see how long it takes to shoot 6 more frames and write them out.
I tried it with a proported 60x card shooting PEF's + JPG's (a worst case scenario, about 10-12 meg total for each pair). I got 6 shots in about 2 seconds and then got another 6 at 7 second intervals. The write light on the camera turned off about 45 seconds later. I estimate it took about 45 seconds to write a full buffer to a 60x SD card. Regards, Bob S.
