ACR seems to be working for me (only 2.4 here) but then again I've
calibrated the camera (it took a few days and lots of CPU time) and I
have produced the two default profiles (a generic daylight/cloudy and
a halide tungsten) and specific calibrations for shade and my
cold-lights and at this point it looks quite good. I've tried most of
the packages you mentioned and always seem to gravitate back to ACR.
