Very impressive for a first attempt. I particularly like the grouping in 2_IGP2104.jpg; it's not easy to get three bikes together in one frame. A suggestion: your shutter speeds are much too fast, so there is very little impression of speed. If you had used 1/1000 or 1/750, instead of 1/4000, you would have blurred the tyres, and would also have got a little more depth of field, so the second rider would probably have been a little better defined. You also seem to be focussing a little ahead of the riders; there are some fairly sharply-defined marbles on the track, suggesting you have some depth of field you aren't using for your subject. Similarly the side shots (such as _IGP2361.jpg - another good one) would benefit from a little more blur - perhaps 1/250 instead of 1/800. It's hard to tell from web shots, but the K10D certainly seems to do pretty well at ISO 800. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
