I have the 67II as well, got it with the 100mm macro (1:1) and added used 45mm f/4, 165mm f/2.8 and 200mm f/4. I like the macro very much, it is quite sharp (but only f/4 of course) Do note that to get 1:1 ratio, you use a dedicated close-up lens with it, which effectively reduces the focal-length to about 67mm! That makes it almost a wide-angle macro on the 67 :-) So beware that subject distance will not be that large ... Without that screw-on lens, it will focus to 1:2 ratio, which was enough for 90% of the shots I took with it. The 45mm is quite good too (even if mine has a minor scratch), very nice for landscapes with huge amounts of detail ... >> My biggest concern is what tripod to get I want to make sure to get >> one heavy enough to counter-act any shutter shake but I'm a student >> and i wanna make sure to get the best bang for my dollar. I have used the Bogen/Manfrotto 155, which is 'OK' but heavier is better :-) Regards, JvW ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jan van Wijk; http://www.dfsee.com/gallery -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
