I had the good fortune to try Rob's when he was over. Sweet. :-)

As I mentioned I had one on order that I canceled when I got a FA
80-200 f2.8 of eBay. In hindsight I think I should have got the FA 200
f2.8 instead. I tend to use the 80-200 at the 200mm end the most so
the reduced weight of the 200 would have been better for me.
