So I broke the SD card door off of my K10D. :-( My fault entirely: With the *ist DS, I occasionally left home with the SD card in the computer. So I developed the habit of leaving the card door open on the camera.
I went shooting this morning at sunrise, looking for deer (found some). I was tired this AM when I returned to read the pdml. I took the SD card out of the K10D to download it. The laptop was balanced on my lap. The K10Dwas balanced on my knee. Then I fell asleep in my chair. The camea fell about 15 inches onto the carpet. The little door is snapped off entirely. Superglue is not working to hold it on. :-( I won't send it for repair until after the holidays.
