I'm not an expert, but I do believe you will be fine. But, the video card does have a major impact on the overall performance when working with graphics. I lived "happily" in the belief that good graphic cards are for gamers, that the main processor did the job, but I have realised I was wrong.
So, if it is possible to upgrade the video card, do it. Don't go for something super fancy, just go up a step or two.
