While the rest of you goofballs have been off arguing some nonsense about television (who freekin' cares?), my usually warm and comfortable hell became a bit cooler because
I PROCESSED SOME FILM! Three rolls of TMY120 from the loaner Pentax 645, all exposed with the A35/3.5 lens. Processed in XTOL, drying in the bathroom now. I'm proud of myself because: a) I remembered how to do it. b) I could find the dark tent and processing equipment. c) The film came out pretty all right. d) I didn't watch two minutes of television in the course of doing it. e) I managed to rig a drying tent in the bathroom out of twine and clothespins that actually worked. In spare moments between the setting up, processing, and clean up, I reviewed the two Lightroom video, sorted and ranked a shoot of 1800 digital photos into a collection of 240 possibles for further development, printed two 11x14s of that photo I showed as PAW 39 yesterday, and tested the TAv control mode on the K10D. Hmm. Something about productivity of film vs digital comes to mind, but forget it. What have you done with regard to PHOTOGRAPHY today?
