I studied them for a few minutes. After applying the same level of sharpening 
to both, I found that the K resolved considerably more detail than the D in the 
test with the 50mm lens. In both tests with the 200mm lens, it was harder for 
me to discern any real difference in detail, which suggests that the lens may 
be the limiting factor here. Noise at 1600 appeared to be approximately the 
same. I would be hard pressed to pick a winner. I'd love to see a similar 
comparison of RAW files, where in-camera processing doesn't affect the equation.
