Why is it the rest of us have to rescue the pacifists when the shit they invite
happens? I have long
had a rule, never start a fight but damn well finish it! We didn't start this one, but
we are going
to finish it. Any US politician who does not realize this will be out of office next
election.
I am not a patriot. I do not believe in "my country right or wrong". I could not find
a flag today
but I did find some red, white, and blue ribbons. They are tied to the antenna of my
vehicle at half
mast where they will remain until the mourning is over and the fighting begins. By
then I will have
found a flag which will fly until there are no more terrorists in the world who dare
act on their
beliefs.
My mailperson, as nice a young woman as you are likely to meet, is from NYC. Her
mother and brother
were within four blocks of the WTC Tuesday morning. She said with tears in her eyes,
"I know it's
not right, but I want to kill them, all of them".
In some strange way all americans are from NYC even the ones who have never been
there, so the
attack was upon all of us. Don't think the "oh, we can't do that we'd be just like
them" idiots fool
you, we the United States and its citizens will not let this slide by as we have so
many incidents
in the past. Some have compared Vietnam to this. In Vietnam the majority of americans
felt we should
not be there, it is not our business. That is not so in this case, 90% of us stand
foursquare behind
our government.
This is our business! You can stand with us, get out of our way, or die. The choice is
yours. There
are no other options.
