I know all about Russia and what they went through in WWII, but that was not
relevant to what I was saying, I would have needed to write a thesis if I
hoped to include every event. Gerald some how believes this would have had
an effect on the 'younger' Russian conscripts I referred to who have had to
go fight in Afghanistan over the past decade. There has been fighting there
since the days of the campaigns of the 1800's on the NW Frontier.
BTW it was the Russians freed my father from the German POW Camp in Poland,
after 5 years of captivity.
