Hi gang, browsing ebay for an FA 1.4/50, I came across this offer http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300059933409 and could not resist. So I'm in much faster than I thought.
Had hands on the K100D already at my local dealer's. Close to perfect for me, despite of the lack of two features. The other one is the missing TTL flash, so no TTL with my AF280T and my several Metz. At least I can set them to automatic mode. Does anybody use the K100D wiht 1.2V NiMH rechargeables, or is it advisable to use another power source? I know this issue has been discussed several times for other bodies, but nevertheless I'd like to know if somebody has real world experience with this very model. Maybe Pentax changed something in power management in the new models? BTW, I saw that Markus Maurer posted again in the recent past, grüezi Markus!
