Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. We went to midnight mass last
night, so I didn't get to bed until two. I got up at eight to get in
a little bit of a workout before everyone else was up. My
granddaughter was up by nine, but we're able to stall her on the
Christmas morning thing, since she is just starting to understand it.
It was a pleasant morning. I enjoyed a croissant with goat cheese and
cranberries, along with several cups of coffee. Then shot several
dozen frames while Grace opened presents. I'm sitting by the fire
now, watching Hitchcock's "The Birds," with my mother and daughter.
We treated mom to a complete set of Hitchcock films, so we're going
to be enjoying his work for quite some time to come. My crown roast
is in the oven now. Smells good.
