True, Cotty - my point exactly. When the issue is the AF capability of the K10D - I guess it's fair to say, that it does not represent a vast improvement as far as action shooting is concerned. This camera (or any Pentax camera for that matter) is not especially designated to action shooting. For this purpose other brands offer more obvious choises, allthough at a very different price level.
