That's been news for a couple of days. Assuming that climate change is
something we could halt, even the best estimates seem to show a 10 or
more year lag between action and effect. Putting the Polar Bear on the
endangered list is an exercise in feel good activity. If the arctic ice
is melting as fast as some seem to think, Polar Bears will be extinct
long before anything done to stop it takes effect.
