I've shot a lot with continuous focus the last couple of days. None  
of it was ultra high speed work, but I took many shots of Grace  
running and lots of shots of people walking down the street, and even  
a few of cars driving down the street -- most of them head on. So  
far, it has worked very well. I would guess that with the new *D  
lenses, it will work extremely well. Anyway, here's a shot of a  
couple of girls walking down Old Woodsard in Birmingham Michigan.  
This is cropped to less than half of the frame (it was a vertical),  
and it's at 1600 ISO. Yes, there's some noise, but not a heck of a  
lot considering the conditions. F 6.3 @1/160th, DA 50-200 @ 200mm.  
ISO 1600 in Tva mode. Best of all, they're pretty girls:
