It's one that I bought second hand from a photo-finisher business that shut up shop. It uses a modified refrigeration compressor with pressure controller which feeds into a paper filter which removes water/oils and dust. It has no reservoir per se but has sufficient storage capacity in the filter and hoses to provide a few puffs of air at up to 100PSI until the compressor cuts in.
