Well, I have no education, so I became self employed. At various times I
paid the rent by working as a photographer (photographing everything from
new born babies to toaster ovens and radios to porn and fetish parties) and
in graphic arts, moved into owning a graphic arts company in which we
designed and implemented the artwork (Anything from a business card to a
building), became a printer (worked several different presses and ended up
operating a small print shop in Oakland, CA and another in San Francisco),
moved into the real estate field, and owned a company that sold whole
islands, mountain retreats, coastal property, and the like (at one time was
only one of four or five people in the world [that I knew or knew of]
specializing in the sale of whole islands), and from there started a pet
sitting service with my wife. Recently I've done volunteer work teaching
photography, and have earned a small pittance teaching a few people how to
use their digital cameras and to understand the basics of Photoshop.

I live in a small, rundown cubicle of a house in the hills of San
Francisco's East Bay with my two cats, Tyler and Buddy, have been enjoying
an renewed interest in cooking, and have just (three days ago) started
talking with a local cook book author about putting out a book of soup
recipes. We've got the concept and a working title, but have a lot to do
before anything actually happens, but the idea sounds like fun.
