I'm a recently retired (after 40 yrs.) Automotive engineer (degreed in Mechanical engineering) from one of the big three. Worked in design, development & manufacturing, mainly light trucks but also some cars. My last position was in design analysis - I handled technical issues involving legal claims against the company. I now am an independent contractor doing Expert witness work on automotive litigation.
