Well, if you can not clearly hear the difference between one brand of 10ga. wire and another, there is something wrong with your hearing.
I have been reading some stuff on an audio forum and have finally came to the understanding that what folks who call themselves audiophiles mean by HiFi is excessively loud with a rather over boosted midrange. They do a lot of sneering at the uninformed who think HiFi means excessively loud with over boosted bass. And, of course, dumb old farts like me, always have the treble turned up way too high and can not here the difference between those brands of wire.
