Hi, Has anyone managed to used the 500FTZ in manual mode with a K10D ?
Here's the problem i'm facing.. 1. If I leave the flash in ttl mode than is simply puts out full power flash bursts as expected since it does not support P-TTL. So far so good. 2. When i put the flash in Manual mode (press the mode button) and use the adjust button to adjust the power level. The power level adjusts accordingly but as soon as i half press the shutter release to focus, the flash automatically reverts to TTL mode and hencforth full power bursts. It seems that the camera is commanding the flash back into ttl mode. Has anyone seen this behaviour or am i doing something wrong. Is the behaviour the same on the DS / DL / K100 ?
