I was eager to see this, after those beautiful shots you posted a day or two ago... was this just a "lets see what the camera can do" experiment?
ann ----- Ann, that's exactly what it was. I got the A 50 F1.2 last summer, and we all knew then that the K10D was coming out. I have been wondering since then if one could take handheld night shots at F1.2 with shake reduction on. It turns out you can, as long as there is a full moon on snow. Sorry if the image disappointed you. If I can find time I will try to process and post a couple of "Real Southwest" photos that I took last week. But those may be more whimsical than beautiful.
